I’ve been forever looking for a small saucepan that I could use for heating milk or small servings of soup. Most pots were far bigger than my needs, and they took up far too much space in the dishwasher. And I wanted the pot to have a spout or some sort of an opening, so it minimizes spillage when I pour the contents into a cup. Months went by because I couldn’t find what I liked. And finally, I found my dream milk pot.

When I first saw this cute little milk pan in my friend’s kitchen, I immediately knew it was the pan that I was looking for all this time. She was using it for milk teas and hot cocoa, and when I asked her about the pot, she told me it was her favorite.

Noda Horo is a well-known Japanese brand for quality enamelware that is extremely durable and lightweight. I was only able to find Noda Horo cookware on Amazon, and I believe they are directly being shipped from Japan. All the instructions and cautionary warnings were in Japanese, so I had some help from Google Translator, haha.

It’s safe for the freezer, fridge, and dishwasher. Obviously, it can be heated; however, it should never be microwaved.

As you can see next to the soda can, the Milk Pan is quite small, only holding 0.7L. I find it perfect for heating up 1-2 cups of milk and leftovers.

Despite the small size, it is amazingly functional and gets so many uses. In addition to heating up milk or soup, this is my go-to pot for melting butter and boiling eggs (it fits up to 5 X-large eggs). And the size makes it perfect for making instant ramen. Most instant ramen noodles require 500ml of water, and with noodles, the pot is the perfect size for cooking and serving ramen.

The wooden handle stays cool, so no need for an oven mitt. The handle feels smooth and comfortable, and I love the white/wood color combination.

The pot features 2 spouts on both sides, so you can pour the contents easily and don’t have to worry about spilling them. This feature was a must for me because I used to waste so much milk with regular pots. I LOVE THIS POT.

I was slightly worried about getting a white pot, and it took me a while to build up the courage to make ramen, worrying that the red pepper seasoning might stain the pot. However, it doesn’t stain and washes beautifully.

My months-long search was so worth it.
