I admit, I didn’t think I was going to like this serving board at first. That’s why I passed on this for so many years. And I moved into a new house this year, and I was in need of a serving plate that goes well with my kitchen decor. I immediately thought of the Round Marble & Acacia Wood Serving Board that was “sort of” on my wish list and snagged it during the Anniversary Sale.

The serving board arrived in a gigantic box that I almost mistook it for something else (I bought bunch of other things during the NSale). The packaging was so thorough, and I was impressed with their attention to detail like this. Regardless of the ample packaging, the serving board itself is quite large and heavy. The cheese wedges that are staged on the product photo must be very large because the board is big!

As you can see, the board features a dual marble and acacia wood surface area, and it is so much prettier in person. I plan to serve cheese on the marble side and crackers and fruit on the wood side.

I don’t think I’ll be using this as a cutting board, though because I don’t like the wood side to show knife marks. It is too pretty to be a cutting board.
The marble side is constructed with solid, thick marble, and that explains why it’s so heavy. I could never lift it with one hand.

The original price is $79, and I honestly think that is reasonably priced. The anniversary sale price was a steal, but after seeing this board in person, I’m willing to pay 80 bucks for this. So substantial and pretty.

It’s going to be a staple piece for entertaining and family gatherings.
