If you’re into hair products, you probably have heard of Ouai (pronounced Way), a premier haircare brand founded by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin. I’d been using Moroccan Oil before I switched to Ouai’s hair oil, and I am completely sold on its subtle yet sophisticated fragrance.

I love shopping for hair products at Sephora because I can take my time and test many products out without being pressured. I spent a great deal of time at the Ouai stand, and I left the store with a bottle of hair oil.

This multi-tasking hair oil can be used on any hair for various styling needs. It instantly gives a lustrous sheen and shine. It’s also great for taming flyaways, split-ends, and overall dryness.
I put this on when I step out of the shower every day. I find it most effective and hydrating when my hair is still damp. It instantly softens my ends and gives me more manageability. Infused with African Galanga Root Extract, Ama, Baobab, and Asian Borage oils, this amazing hair oil seals my hair from drying out, so for me, it’s a must for blow-drying.

I liked Moroccan Oil a lot, but its fragrance couldn’t compete with that of Ouai. I don’t use any skincare products that are scented, and I can’t stand artificial fragrances. Naturally, I select my hair products carefully because I don’t want them to give me migraines. The Ouai hair oil, however, has the most elegant fragrance. It’s subtle but lasts all day as well. It is a combination of violet, gardenia, ylang-ylang, and white musk, which can’t go wrong. I wish Ouai offers a matching hair mist or perfume!

Like most hair oils, the 45ml bottle lasts me a while because I only need a pump or two.
I concentrate on my ends since they’re the driest and most brittle, and my hair gets noticeably shinier and softer.

Ahhhhhmazing hair oil and I think I’ve found my hair oil for life!
