PBfit Peanut Butter Powder – Original



This is the original peanut butter powder from PBfit.



This is a natural peanut butter powder with 87% less fat and about 1/3 the calories of traditional peanut butter, making it an ideal choice for those who are watching their weights.



Thanks to its powder form, it’s easier to use in smoothies or baking.

I particularly love using this peanut butter powder for my morning smoothies because regular peanut butter sometimes doesn’t mix well. It’s also much more difficult to portion control as it sticks to the utensils that I scoop the peanut butter out with.



I can mix the powder directly into a smoothie or other baking recipes. And I can easily make low-fat peanut butter by adding water directly to the powder. The “golden ratio” is to combine 2 tablespoons of powder with 1.5 tablespoons of water. You can tweak this ratio however you like depending on how thick you want the butter to be.



In terms of the flavor, I honestly can’t tell the difference from regular peanut butter.



One thing that’s disappointing about this powder is that it contains sugar. These days, nobody wants sugary stuff. And people will add sugar or sugar alternatives if they want it sweetened. Why would you add sugar to a perfectly tasty product? Fortunately, PBfit offers a sugar-free version of the peanut butter powder, so I’ll be purchasing that from now on.



Other than the sugar content, this stuff rocks. Deeeelish!
