Philosophy’s Ballet Rose has the most intoxicating rose scent I’ve ever smelled! I casually tried the lotion at Ulta while I was waiting for my friend and fell in love with the Ballet Rose. One pump of the lotion stayed on for the whole night, and I placed an order that night because I kept on sniffing my hands!
I purchased both the shower gel and lotion to really indulge in the heavenly fragrance, and I will be purchasing them over and over again! According to Philosophy, the Ballet Rose is a representation of pink rose petals opening at first bloom. The scent is indeed very crisp and fresh – the scent of roses in early summer!
What’s awesome about the shower gel is that it is not only for showering but also for hair and bubble baths. I haven’t used it on hair yet, but it leaves my body so soft and freshly smelling. Like many Philosophy shower gels, it also excels at producing sumptuous bubbles. Just pour it under running water.
It lathers very well and doesn’t dry my skin out even in colder and drier months.
The body lotion comes with a convenient pumping dispenser, making it perfect on top of a vanity or a countertop. The shower gel does not come with a dispenser, but the cap doesn’t feel inconvenient, either.
