If you like fine-point pens, you need these.

Japan makes impeccable fine-point pens, and lately, the Juice Up pens are all the rage.

They come in so many colors. When do you ever need a white or neon-pink pen, right? Guess what, the Juice Up comes in those colors, unlike our good-old Bic pens that only come in boring colors.

Inconsistent ink flow can be one of the biggest issues with finer-point pens. Because the tip is so thin, the ink doesn’t flow consistently and gets clogged easily. And finer point pens work differently than ball pens, when the ink stops or dries up at the tip, you can’t really “write it out” like most ball pens. I’ve been using the Juice Up for months, and it always writes consistently even in cold.

The rubber grip is comfortable and doesn’t tire my hand from writing.

I mainly use the Juice Up for writing on the margins of a book I’m reading. The ink doesn’t bleed, and the ultra-fine tip allows me to “let my thoughts flow” on the margins.

The ink dries up quickly, so I can move on to the next page without having to worry about the pages getting smeared. Will be great for students, for that reason.

Since I have a habit of losing the caps all the time, retractable pens are certainly preferred.

It travels better because no caps go missing in a bag.

The Juice up is an excellent, excellent pen.
