I bought the Manual Mini Cutter from Slice to safely open and cut down cardboard boxes.
I knew it was going to be small, but it was tiny! I laughed because it was so tiny and looked flimsy.
But it cuts down cardboard boxes and durable shipping tape easily and efficiently.
It includes a “Slice” ceramic blade that is safer than metal blades but longer lasting.
The ceramic blade doesn’t cut my fingers, which is great for households with kids or pets.
Slice claims that their ceramic blade lasts 11 times longer than metal blades, so we’ll see how long it lasts. It’s been cutting down cardboard boxes accurately for months now.
The cutter contains a built-in magnet and lanyard hole to make carrying easier.
There is a retractable cutter (which I didn’t know at the time of my purchase), and I think it’s going to be much safer because there is no accidental blade hanging. Not that the blade is going to hurt anybody. But you’ll need to hold the blade to cut, so it can be a little uncomfortable for some.
