Who would’ve guessed that I’d be buying a separate container for sliced cheese!?

I guess that’s what a brand-new fridge does to you. I’ve been dead set on keeping my fridge clean and organized.

But sadly, storing sliced cheese has been challenging. My family uses sliced cheese almost daily, and I always keep a bar of cream cheese in stock in case I feel like baking a cheesecake. Like many people, I store them inside the built-in slot on the fridge door (usually a top drawer-like shelf); however, the sliced cheese would fall out as the door opens and closes. Somebody must’ve thought exactly that because I found the perfect container! And it's amazing – I’m recommending it!

I got this from my favorite home organizational store, the Container Store. It is seriously every decorator/organization lover’s heaven. I sometimes just go in there to get some organizational tips or inspiration. I admit its prices are sometimes quite high, especially when there are many identical or close substitutes online, so I recommend shopping around if you’re not in a hurry. This was reasonably priced, so I didn’t really feel like looking for other options.

This transparent, plastic container is specifically designed to store sliced cheese. It is made with BPA-free plastic; therefore, it's top-rack dishwasher safe. But I personally prefer hand washing these items because these plastic containers tend to get discolored from other food items. I once put some clear plastic containers with dishes that had tomato sauce, and it completely stained them permanently!

This sliced cheese container can hold up to 16 slices of cheese. Most store-bought sliced cheese contains 16 slices (unless you buy a value pack), so it’s perfect.

It looks so neat and tidy, and the clear body showcases the bright yellow cheese slices.

There’s nothing special about this container, but this little fella keeps a fridge tidy and organized. It stays neatly tucked inside the slot by the door – LOVE IT!

I used to shove everything inside a fridge drawer after my trip to a grocery store, and I ended up wasting a lot of money on food. Because the drawers were so full and unorganized, I ended up buying the same thing, thinking I was out of that. Some were forgotten underneath a bunch of spinach and a bag of Honeycrisp apples, and they eventually met their fate inside a compost can. Hope I'd waste a lot less now since my fridge's so organized.
