I’ve been buying the Stending calendar for years now.

I find calendars and clocks to be the hardest thing to shop for. Since they are no longer household necessities (thanks to iPhones), the options are limited. But you can’t just buy any calendar or clock because once they’re hung, you’ll be looking at it many times a day.

And I’ve found the Stending calendar. Apparently, I’m not the only fan because many people buy it every year. Its classic design is timeless, and the black and white rotating pages go well with most spaces – residential, commercial offices, kids' room,s or any kitchens/cafes.

This oversized calendar is a statement piece by itself while serving a practical function. It is quite large and fills up a wall nicely.

I just love the black-and-white rotating background papers. January is printed on a white background, February is on black, March is on white, and so forth. Although I hardly find the calendar to be boring, the monthly background color change is a sure way to spruce things up.

It always sells out, especially by the end of the year. Understandable, because it makes a terrific Christmas/New Year’s gift. So if you’re planning to get one for next year, I’d get it before it sells out.

The calendar arrives in a rolled condition, but it flattens out after a few days of hanging.
