I always carry a drink with me so reusable tumblers are a must. I’ve been using the plastic water bottle since college, and I’ve been meaning to replace it as it was developing a weird lingering smell. I specifically wanted a stainless steel tumbler, and S’well was the perfect candidate.

Launched in 2010, S’well aims to reduce plastic consumption by providing stylish and durable water bottles. I was glad to learn that S’well is the fastest-growing woman-owned company in the United States (according to Sarah Kauss, the founder and CEO) as well.

S’well comes in multiple sizes and countless designs that are so appealing. Whether you’re looking for a simple water bottle or a colorfully-illustrated one, you’re bound to find the illustration you like.

I ended up getting a Traveler’s size from S’well’s Wood Collection. The grain pattern reminded me of olivewood, which I’m obsessed with.
Compared to the Bottle - the original size that features a tall, narrow body with a smaller mouth -, the Traveler’s much easier to clean and carry because of the wider mouth and thicker body. It fits perfectly in my car’s cup holder, and I think the Bottle would’ve been too narrow.

There is a Tumbler, and it is the cutest little thing. You can separately purchase the Tumbler Lid as well.

S’well also offers bottle brushes to keep the bottles clean and maintained. The bamboo handles were sturdy and I could tell the brush was good quality. The bristles were dense but weren’t overly harsh. You certainly don’t want to scratch the stainless steel interior or damage the insulating properties. I also really liked that the brush head was removable and dishwasher-safe. I’m debating whether to get one or not since it’s quite pricey, but just by looking at it, the bottle brush seems like an essential bottle-cleaning tool. I’ve been washing my plastic tumblers in the dishwasher, and therefore I don’t actually own a bottle brush, so I might get one later.
