I’ve been a huge fan of Swiffer® Sweeper® Mop for so many years now, and I was literally jumping around when Swiffer® came up with the X-Large™ Sweeper®.
The X-Large™ Sweeper is 1.5X wider than the regular Sweeper®, covering larger floor space and reducing cleaning time. The X-Large is so much better since I can pick up most of my dog’s hair with a few sweeps.

I understand that a sweeper mop cannot replace a vacuum cleaner. In fact, I have 2 Dyson vacuums that I regularly use (1 cordless and 1 full-size canister vacuum for thorough vacuuming). But since my dog constantly sheds his hair everywhere he goes and because I’m not going to be chasing my dog around with a vacuum to pick up his chunks of hair, I keep a Swiffer® Sweeper® mop in handy.

The Swiffer® refill pads collect hair, dirt and allergen effectively in between vacuuming, which can become a concern if you have pets. I quickly sweep the area where I notice dog hair, and the dry cloth his hair!

I’ve been always getting the original Swiffer® refill pads because they perform so much better than other generic pads that are compatible with Swiffer® mop. In my opinion, the original refill pads are so worth the extra few cents. The X-Large™ dry cloth refills are unscented, and I don’t believe the scented varieties are available just yet. You can choose from 16 and 19 counts per pack.

Although I love the dry pads, I honestly can’t recommend the wet cloths. Until recently, Swiffer® didn’t offer the X-Large wet cloths. Instead, we were told to use 2 regular wet cloths side by side to fit the X-Large mop. Swiffer® has been proudly advertising that the X-Large wet cloths are now available in select retailers (like Home Depot or Amazon), but I don’t care for them.
This goes for all Swiffer® wet cloths, but they are simply not good. Essentially the wet cloths are pre-moistened disposable cloths; however, they dry up super quickly. I don’t have a particularly big kitchen, but I need at least 2 X-Large wet cloths to mop the kitchen floor thoroughly, which is not even worth it.

It’s very easy to replace the dry cloth. The mop has 8 cloth grippers to keep the pad in place.

But other than the wet cloths, I love the Sweeper X-Large™.
