In my opinion, blankets make the perfect holiday gifts. They are right on the season, functional, and plush. You cannot have too many blankets!
I buy these Threshold blankets in bulk on Black Friday to gift, and these blankets have been a huge hit!

The blankets come in many colors, all of them neutral enough to go with most bedding.
My personal favorite is this dark purple. It’s such a deep, sophisticated eggplant color.

Initially, I bought this blanket for myself. Loved it so much, I decided to gift it to others as well.
These are extremely plush and soft, making an ideal additional layer under a comforter or duvet.

Each blanket comes neatly folded and wrapped in a gray ribbon, looking presentable. I gift wrapped them anyway, but, still.

These are full-sized blankets, not throw blankets.

You can certainly use the twin-sized blanket in a family room, they are meant for layering beds as the sizes go, twin, full/queen, and king.

These blankets wash well and don’t shed much. I can’t comment on the color bleeding because I always wash my blanket by itself. I have a king-sized blanket, and it is quite large and barely fits in my washer. I would wash the blankets by themselves, just to be sure, though.
