I’ve been going through some major closet organization this past week, and I don’t know how I could’ve stayed sane without the storage boxes I got from the Laundress New York.
Every spring and fall, I do routine closet cleaning and organization to store away the past season’s clothes and bring out new clothes for the season. I (try to) toss or donate the clothes that I didn’t touch that season, so I can make some room for the new clothes I bought. And put away the rest of the clothes in storage boxes. I’ve been using plastic containers and piled them in one corner; however, I wanted to free up some floor space, so I got a few storage cubes from the Laundress New York.
The storage cubes come in 2 colors (black and white) and 3 sizes (small, medium, and large) to accommodate various storage needs.
I got 4 large storage boxes so I can store sweaters, thicker jeans, and scarves. And coming fall, I’ll be swapping these out with shorts and tank tops.
The boxes are structured, so they keep their shapes even when they’re not full. I like structured boxes over scrunchy ones because I can stack them on top of each other.
The snug-fitting lid has the Laundress New York logo printed. Having a logo was not too terribly important for me, but if you’re going for a super-organized look along with other Laundress products (say in a laundry room), these will do.
I love the handle because I’ll be keeping them on a shelf. And to make things easier, the boxes come with labels, so I’ll know where to grab my favorite sweater we’re having an unusually chilly summer night.
I’m using them to store clothes, but like any canvas storage cubes, they can be used anywhere in the house – toys, packing supplies, blankets, old photos, electronics, and more.
