I’ve been subscribing to Youtuber UNA for quite some time now. She just turned 40, and she has better skin than me who’s 28. She follows a strict daily routine to maintain her figure and translucent skin, and her tips have been very helpful to me. Although I can never follow through with all the rituals she does, I’ve been following some that rendered successful results.

This particular variety is sold out, but there is an updated version with fully recyclable packaging.

She shares a recipe for “Whitening Juice” in one of her videos, and it requires various superfoods, giving you the instant boost of vitamin C. The recipe calls for almond powder, Camu Camu powder, Aronia powder, and cacao nibs. FYI, Camu Camu powder is known for its high concentration of vitamin C. You will need to mix the above ingredients in a certain ratio (refer to her video) and mix it in low-fat yogurt. You also need to add fructo-oligosaccharide because it acts as a prebiotic for more effective activation of the ingredients.
At first, I purchased the ingredients Una suggested and made the whitening juice myself. But it was honestly a lot of work having to scoop and measure the right amount every morning. Still, her video was a massive hit. Apparently, it was so successful that she launched a product called Una Beauster, which is essentially a powdered blend of superfood ingredients in her Whitening Juice recipe. I was super excited to see the launch of Beauster and purchased a box immediately.

This box of Beauster contains kits to make 10 servings of Whitening Juice. You get 10 powdered packets that contain superfood blends of Camu Camu, Aronia, bilberry, and almond powder. They are purple packets. And you get 10 separate packets for fructo-oligosaccharides. They are white packets.

It is more expensive to buy Beauster than purchasing ingredients separately and mixing them up, but that’s just basic economics. The makers of Beauster (and Una for planning/designing the product) need to be compensated for the value they’re adding to this convenient product. Even then, I must say, the price can be a bit lower (or at least offer a quantity discount for bulk orders as many fans eat it daily), though.

I add a packet of Beauster and oligosaccharides every morning to make my yogurt parfait, so I finished a box in 10 days. The beauster packets taste exactly like my homemade Whitening Juice, so if your budget’s tight, opt for buying ingredients separately and making your own Whitening Juice. I know from experience that many retailers run frequent promotions on Camu Camu powder and cacao nibs, and a small bag of powder makes so many servings (almost close to 100?). I justified paying the premium for Beauster because my morning is insanely hectic; however, making your own concoction is definitely an option if you have the time and patience for it. Because ladies, this juice works!

You’re basically adding a boost of vitamin C to your yogurt. I’ve been mixing this blend with my yogurt for close to a year now, and my complexion has never been better. I feel like my skin glows from within and appears much healthier. It’s not a dramatic result, though. Beauster is a dietary supplement, so I knew it wasn’t going to transform my skin; however, the improvement is visible. And another benefit that I must mention is the noticeably healthier gut activity. It may be a TMI, but I poop daily now, bahaha! I’m thinking frequent visits to the bathroom help with a clearer complexion by detoxifying one’s body.
When you mix the powder with low-fat yogurt, it turns into this deep purple shade. It tastes so much better than adding plain blueberry powder. And I personally hate the taste of acai powder, so I’m so glad I found this recipe.

You can choose any yogurt you like, and the consistency (e.g. drinking yogurt) doesn’t matter as long as the yogurt contains live bacteria cultures. My favorite low-fat yogurt is Siggi’s, and it tastes even more amazing when mixed with Beauster! I may be a forever customer.
