After weeks of research to combat my perpetually dry skin, I found this – Real Hyaluronic One Day Kit from WELLAGE. And it legit works.

WELLAGE is a Korean company that manufactures various Botox products. And these kits already have a cult-like following in South Korea. This potent hyaluronic concentrate contains 900,000 PPM of hyaluronic acid, maximizing moisture retention. Considering how most skincare products that supposedly contain generous amounts of hyaluronic acid only contain a fraction of 900,000 PPM, this product seemed legit. I had to give it a try. Because this wasn’t available in the United States, I had to order it directly from one of Korea’s beauty stores (similar to Sephora).

A kit contains a ball of freeze-dried hyaluronic concentrate (Bio Capsule) and a packet of highly enriched ampoule called the “Blue Solution”.

You must combine the Bio Capsule and Blue Solution together to activate the hyaluronic acid. And the capsule melts instantly, so you can use it right away.

This Blue Solution contains 8 herbal extracts for achieving glowy, radiant skin. I like to mix the two on my palm because I use the whole kit per application. You can also melt it in the tray the Bio Capsule comes in, but I personally prefer my palm. I can just slather the concentrate directly on my face, so I don’t waste any. Each kit is quite pricey, so I’d hate to waste it.

On WELLAGE’s product page, WELLAGE included clinical test results, conducted by P&K Skin Research Center in Korea. Since the research only had 20 test subjects, I took the results with a grain of salt, but I’m excited to report that I had similar improvements.

My skin immediately felt plumper and hydrated. Because hyaluronic acid’s molecular structure is essentially saccharide, it has a slightly starchy finish; however, it doesn’t feel overly sticky to the point of becoming a nuisance or hindrance. I use it at night as part of a special skincare regimen, and it’s proven to be much better than sheet masks or any other hydrating facial treatments I’ve tried.

Even with the bundle discount I got, it was quite expensive. But the results were too good and too real that I’ll probably repurchase them. I used to shell out hundreds of dollars on a jar of moisturizer until I realized moisturizers are all the same (brand marketing, packaging design, and advertisement dictate the retailer price). But these hyaluronic capsules are so worth it that I recommend them to anyone.
