I’ve been thinking about replacing my furry baby’s food bowls for weeks; however, I couldn’t decide on one due to price, material, or quality. These are the criteria I was expecting from the new bowls.

I came across Wild One through Instagram, and I fell in love with their dog bowls. They check off all the criteria I was considering, and my baby’s got brand-new food and water bowls.

The shipping was prompt and fast, which can really affect an online shopping experience.

I loved the way Wild One packaged the bowls.

Each bowl was housed in a canvas bag. It’s not only great for storage and transport but also protects the bowl in transit. I will be using canvas bags for traveling – aren’t they perfect for socks and underwear?

I bought 2 bowls for my Rottweiler, Hazel – one for water and one for food. She weighs about 95 lbs, and I find the size of the bowls to be perfect for her. I change water frequently during the day (the water gets mixed with her saliva and gets nasty super-quick), so I didn’t think the 4-cup capacity was lacking.

As for the food, she gets 2 cups a day, and the bowl holds her food nicely. Unless your dog is a particularly messy eater, I believe the bowl will comfortably accommodate its maximum capacity, of 4 cups. The bowl’s opening is wide, making it easier for her to eat and drink.

The Wild One dog bowl comes in 2 colors, black and tan. I thought about getting 2 tan bowls to compliment my living room’s neutral color scheme. But I thought black and tan are my Rottie’s colors. Yup, so I got one of each.

The bowls are constructed of durable stainless steel, so Hazel can enjoy them for many years. I don’t feel comfortable using ceramic bowls because I know she’s going to toss them around at one point and shatter them. And as to be expected from stainless steel bowls, they wash incredibly well in a dishwasher.

Each bowl retails for $25. I once bought stainless steel dog food bowls from AmazonBasics at a much cheaper price; however, I didn’t like how flimsy and thin they were. They made a huge clanking noise every time, spooking Hazel.

The bowls from Wild One have wider rims and stay on the floor steadily. They don’t easily shift and don’t move much. Great!

Wild One also included a complimentary tennis ball, as a thank-you gift.

I found the ball to be a little too small for my girl (a possible suffocation hazard); however, I’m sure it will be a fine toy to fetch for smaller breeds. I gave the ball to my neighbor who has a shiba inu.

All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with Hazel’s new bowls, and I can’t wait to try Wild One’s other products. I’m sure Hazel is going to enjoy her mealtime as well.
