Toaster tongs are such a functional kitchen tool.
I’ve always thought, why get separate “toaster tongs” when I can either grab it with my hand or the regular tongs that I have? In theory, having toaster tongs seemed like an unwise way of spending $7. But mornings are busy, the toaster takes forever, and grabbing the toast as soon as it pops up results in burnt fingers. And who’s got the time to walk across the kitchen to grab tongs by the stove?

I looked at a few toaster tongs before deciding to land on the one from Williams-Sonoma. Mostly, they’re made of bamboo or lightly-grained wood, and the prices range from $5-7.
The Toaster Tongs from Williams Sonoma retail for $6.95, which is on the higher end of the price range.

For an additional $2, you get a built-in magnet that conveniently attaches to most metal toasters. I love this feature, and it was the reason I chose this over others. Without the magnet, the tong will wander off and mysteriously get lost!

It is seriously so handy and useful.
It’s definitely one of those tools that you don’t realize how convenient it was until it gets lost.
No more burnt fingers, and it is always there by the toaster.
