Anyone tried Virtue shampoo & conditioner? Worth it for damaged hair?

For Whom/What:

long, brittle, damaged hair that isn't color-treated

Requirements:

actually restorative

proven formula

Extra Details:

I keep seeing Virtue pop up in reviews and TikToks, and I’m curious if it actually delivers. I’ve got long hair that’s pretty brittle and prone to breakage—it’s not colored, just in rough shape from heat styling and everyday wear. If you’ve used Virtue, I’d love to hear your honest experience. Did it noticeably improve strength/shine or was it just “meh”? Which line worked best for you (Recovery, Smooth, Full, etc.)? How does it compare to other higher-end brands like Olaplex or Kérastase?

I actually ended up using both the Recovery and Full lines because my hair is in that awkward place—damaged at the ends but flat at the roots. The Recovery shampoo/conditioner felt super nourishing, almost creamy, and after a couple weeks my ends definitely looked less frayed. But if I used it too often, my roots got a little weighed down.

That’s where the Full line came in—lighter, more volumizing, but not nearly as hydrating. On its own, Full wasn’t enough for my brittle hair, but alternating the two worked. Recovery when my hair felt extra dry, Full when I needed a lift.

If your main issue is long, brittle, damaged hair, I’d say go straight for the Recovery shampoo/conditioner. It’s more restorative and actually addresses the damage instead of just making your hair look fuller. You can always mix in Full later if you want volume, but Recovery is the one that makes the real difference.
