My Top 3 PS5 games of 2025 so far (purely player POV, not critic brain):
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – This one surprised the hell out of me. Went in with mild expectations and ended up fully hooked. Combat is super creative, story actually hits emotionally, and the art direction is insane. Easily my GOTY right now.
Death Stranding 2 – Classic Kojima: weird, slow at times, but unforgettable. The world is gorgeous, the vibes are immaculate, and it feels more playable than the first while still being… very Kojima. Not for everyone, but if it clicks, it really clicks.
Ghost of Yōtei – If you loved Ghost of Tsushima, this is an easy win. Combat feels refined, the setting is beautiful, and it scratches that cinematic samurai itch perfectly. Not reinventing the wheel, but super polished and satisfying.
Curious to see what everyone else is voting for — 2025 has been a pretty stacked year.

Top 3 for me this year:
1. Death Stranding 2 – not for everyone, but the atmosphere + story stuck with me way longer than most games
2. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth – insane scale, easily 100+ hours if you actually explore
3. Stellar Blade – combat was way better than I expected
