I was at West Elm last week, just casually browsing. The staff is always friendly, and the interior styles are approachable and comfortable. I picked up a set of Way of Will Invigorating Hand Soap and Lotion. I have never heard of this brand, but after using it for a week, I’m seriously wondering why these are not readily available elsewhere. These are amazing. Way of Will needs to extend its products to other retailers, so many people can enjoy the quality products!
The hand soap and lotion duo comes in a colorful gift box. The illustration features an abstract geometric pattern. You can buy the soap and lotion separately as well. I don’t like fake perfume soaps. My husband prefers unscented ones, but they feel like dish soap to me. That’s why I’m always in search of aroma-therapeutic hand soaps that leave my skin nourished and clean. This hand soap does exactly that.
I got the “Sweet Orange + Elemi” scent, and it is such a pleasant, fresh citrus scent. Most citrus-scented hand soaps remind me of commercial kitchens and Pine Sol; however, the Invigorating Hand Wash has a touch of sweetness that diffuses the strong citrus. Think of Mandarin without sourness.
The hand lotion doubles as a body lotion – one less clutter on the bathroom vanity. I intend to keep them on a sink in my kitchen as well. The lotion isn’t sticky, but it does a great job of moisturizing my hands. I didn’t need to reapply until my next wash.
The Way of Will hand duo is made in Canada and comes in 8 fl. oz black plastic bottles. The chic black bottle with a minimalistic label goes so well with most bathrooms and kitchens.
The duo comes in the “Hyssop + Rose Geranium” scent as well. I went with the Sweet Orange + Elemi because my husband isn’t a huge fan of rose-scented products.
I snagged them when they were on sale, so the price was definitely agreeable at $19.99 (from $28), each.
I’ve been buying seasonal hand soap and lotion duos from Williams Sonoma for a few years now.
Since every kitchen needs good soap and moisturizing lotion, the duo is the easiest way to introduce seasonal festivities.
Aside from the heavenly fragrances, the hand soap and lotion have superior moisturizing properties. I cook a lot, and I always reach for soaps with essential oils because my hands dry out otherwise. They get drier in winter, so I love using Williams Sonoma’s soap! With essential oils, the soap and lotion keep my hands soft and moisturized.
Williams Sonoma has a full line of ongoing hand soap, lotion, and dish soap, as well. Fragrances like Meyer Lemon, Pink Grapefruit, and White Gardenia are refreshing all-year-long options.
I don’t use home diffusers, so I can’t comment on them. I have this fear of leaving an open bottle full of fragranced oil.
