I’ve got long, thick hair that takes forever to dry—and I’m officially over spending 40+ minutes blasting heat and still walking out the door with damp roots. Would love to hear what’s worked for you.
I cannot sing the praises of the Owooii AirEssence Standing Dryer enough—especially if your hair is thick and long like mine. This isn’t your average blow-dryer: it’s a hands-free, standing dryer that releases this gentle yet powerful stream of air that dries your hair so much faster—and without frying the ends. I’ve cut my dry time in half, and there’s zero frizz or crunchy bits. Being able to stroll around doing other stuff while it works is honestly life-changing.
If you don’t want to spend Dyson money, the Revlon One-Step Volumizer Plus works surprisingly well. It’s technically a hot air brush, but I use it to rough-dry first, then do a quick smoothing pass. Cuts my drying time almost in half and leaves my hair shiny. Just keep the heat setting on low/medium to avoid damage.
