Every kitchen organization video seems to end with someone putting everything into 47 matching acrylic containers. It looks beautiful for five minutes, but I’m not interested in decanting a half-used bag of rice into a prettier box just to say I’m organized.
I want the less photogenic, more ingenious stuff.
We cook frequently, have deep cabinets, lots of appliances and the usual graveyard of lids, sheet pans, cutting boards and oddly shaped kitchen tools. I’m looking for things that actually make a kitchen function better: vertical storage, clever drawer inserts, pull-down mechanisms, shelf hardware, ways to use deep cabinets without losing things in the back.
