Aesthetic Storage or Organizers for the Craft Space
For Whom/What:
small multipurpose room I use for various DIY and home improvements
Requirements:
space saving
easy to maintain
not ugly plastic clutter
makes crafting faster
Extra Details:
My craft supplies are slowly taking over drawers and random boxes 😅
Looking for smart storage or organization systems that make your setup feel cleaner, easier to find things and less chaotic.
If you’re tired of ugly plastic but still want to see everything, these are my favorite middle ground.
I use the clear acrylic drawers for tiny stuff (beads, hardware, sewing bits, Cricut blades). Because they’re transparent, I don’t open five drawers just to find one thing. And they don’t scream “craft bin” — they look almost like beauty or office storage. Very calm, minimal vibe.
I didn’t expect drawer organizers to make this big of a difference, but these containers from the Container Store low-key made my craft space feel professional overnight.
Before, everything lived in random pouches and boxes, so I was constantly digging around for tape, blades, markers, etc. Total momentum killer. These are super simple — just clean white (or green or black, depending on the color you choose) modular trays — but they fit together perfectly and don’t slide around. I like that the fluted sides make them feel a little elevated, not cheap office plastic.
Now each tool has a home - scissors, cutters, pens/markers, washi + small parts, adhesives and misc tiny hardware ...
