I’ve got long, thick hair that takes forever to dry—and I’m officially over spending 40+ minutes blasting heat and still walking out the door with damp roots. Would love to hear what’s worked for you.
If you don’t want to spend Dyson money, the Revlon One-Step Volumizer Plus works surprisingly well. It’s technically a hot air brush, but I use it to rough-dry first, then do a quick smoothing pass. Cuts my drying time almost in half and leaves my hair shiny. Just keep the heat setting on low/medium to avoid damage.
Laifen Swift SE gets my vote for GOAT hair dryer, hands down. 🔥 It’s crazy how fast this thing dries my hair—like Dyson-level speed—but without the $400+ price tag. The airflow is strong but not scorching, and it leaves my hair smooth instead of frizzy. For under $200, the build quality and performance are insane.
