Prefer pine, wood, amber, spice, fireplace or similar cozy scents
Nice-looking vessel is a plus
Good burn and scent throw
Extra Details:
I'm looking for that candle that immediately makes the house feel like Christmas. I don't mind spending more for a luxury candle if the scent and throw justify it, but inexpensive hidden gems are welcome too.
Diptyque Feu de Bois. Not technically a Christmas candle but this IS Christmas in my house.
It smells like an actual wood-burning fireplace rather than one of those sweet "holiday spice" candles. I usually burn it with Diptyque Sapin during December and the combination of fireplace + pine is ridiculously good.
Feu de Bois is also one of the few expensive candles where I think the throw somewhat justifies the price. I can smell it from the next room.
If you want something more traditionally Christmas-y, get Sapin. If you want something you can keep burning all winter, I'd get Feu de Bois.
Holiday Candle You're In Love With
