budget options for short-term items, but willing to invest if I'm using them for long-term
Extra Details:
What are your must-have baby items that you found truly essential in those early months? Stage-based items, sleep aids, feeding supplies, travel accessories, etc. I’d love recommendations on products that made life easier, whether it’s a game-changing stroller, a bottle warmer that saved you during late-night feeds, or a baby monitor you swear by. Any unique or overlooked items that aren’t on every basic checklist but ended up being lifesavers?
I learned about BabyUp, which claims to ease reflux and colic while offering a comfortable seat that mimics a parent’s posture. It even converts into a highchair—smart idea, especially for digestion issues. I was actually shopping for a babyshower gift for my sister who was expecting in May, so it seemed like the perfect gift. My sister likes it a lot! Not sure why it's not as mainstream and popular as other "essential" baby products (possibly because it's from Australia?), but my vote goes to BabyUp.
If you haven’t tried Konny bibs, do yourself a favor and get a few. They’re hands-down the best bibs we’ve used — soft, stretchy, and actually stylish.
They’re made with this super absorbent cotton that doesn’t get stiff or gross after washing, and they stay in place without twisting around like those flimsy bandana bibs. My baby’s a serious drooler, and these save so many outfit changes. Plus, they come in muted, neutral tones that look nice with literally everything.
I keep a stash in the diaper bag, car, and stroller — they’re that essential.
