My kids have been living in their Plae shoes — super durable and easy for them to get on/off solo. Dual Velcro straps and a heel pull-loop allow toddlers to put on and remove the shoes independently, fostering self-reliance.

The price typically between $64–$76, with occasional sales offering discounts up to 50% off.

They're amazing for active toddlers needing durable and comfortable footwear.

We swear by Stride Rite Soft Motion Waverly sneakers. They’ve got memory foam insoles and grip really well, which is perfect for playground days. These come in the wide version, providing ample room for his feet without causing any discomfort.

They’re also machine washable, which I didn’t realize would be such a lifesaver, but with a rambunctious kid, the shoes need washing bi-weekly, lol.

And if you're looking for rainboots, Hunter Kids First Classic Rain Boots are hands down the best. So well-made and stylish.
